Our client is an innovative and developing Swiss headquartered commercial stage pharmaceutical company. They are now seeking a Legal and Compliance Counsel to lead for the UK, Nordics and Canada based in London.
Reporting to their Head of Legal for EUCAN and working closely with the small country management teams, the role will be responsible for all legal and compliance issues for the region. More specifically, the post holder will oversee and lead on all commercial contracting, collaborations, market access, ABPI matters including compliance training and monitoring, as well as digital and data privacy related concerns.
You will ideally be an experienced life sciences lawyer with at least 5-10 years experience from both private practice and ideally a similar in-house role within a pharmaceutical or biotech organisation (although medical technology experience may also be considered). You will need experience of both commercial legal matters, as well as strong experience of working on healthcare compliance programs.
You will also need to be a commercially minded proactive team player, who can operate effectively at all levels in an entrepreneurial and fast paced organisation. The role will be based in London and will operate a hybrid working model.
