Technical Data Analyst

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate current data workflows and interfaces, benchmark against industry standards, and implement ETL automation where applicable. Strong development expertise is essential, particularly in SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Integration Services, and Python.
• Deliver and maintain critical performance reporting services (daily, weekly, and monthly), ensuring high standards of accuracy and completeness.
• Operate independently with strong initiative and a commitment to timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects by engaging key stakeholders and facilitating regular alignment and communication meetings.
• Identify and propose enhancements for interface standardisation and database process optimisation. Thoroughly document business requirements to support ongoing improvements of the interface ecosystem.
• Experience with cloud data migration and Kafka event stream/store technologies is advantageous for upcoming initiatives.

Professional Experience

• Data analysis and complex process evaluation using SQL
• Automation development using Python
• Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Amazon Quick Sight)
• End-to-end process automation solutions

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a closely related discipline preferred

Language Skills

• English proficiency at a native or C2 level
