ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Project Manager with immediate effect for our leading client based in Lichfield. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of technology projects from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring that all project deliverables meet the business requirements and technical specifications, and providing regular updates on project progress and risks.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers regarding all order states and updates
- Communicating with senior stakeholders (internal and external) & delivering against demanding targets
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the delivery process
- Developing schedules and assigning individual responsibilities to project team members
- Project budgetary focus and adjusting schedules / targets for achievement
- Working alongside all business functions to ensure a smooth and consistent approach
- Escalating issues to your line manager and other stakeholders as required to facilitate resolution
- Keeping all systems up to date with progression of orders
Skills / Experience:
- Delegate tasks efficiently while retaining ownership and control
- Able to make effective decisions when presented with multiple options
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Strong leadership skills and experience developing more junior colleagues
- Good understanding of IT and communication systems
- Experience using project management methodologies
- Able to manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate information and provide excellent customer service
- Proficient with order management software / ITSM systems
- Exposure to ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Empathetic, Passionate, Collaborative, Adaptable, Results Focused, Innovative and a Critical Thinker
- 5 years demonstrable experience
