About Us
Join 2 Sisters Food Group, a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, at our Pizza Factory sites in Nottingham. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality bakery and pizza items and are looking for a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team and drive our strategic initiatives.
The Role
As the Head of Engineering, you will be at the forefront of our engineering operations, ensuring the smooth running of our two Nottingham sites. This role is perfect for a seasoned engineering professional with a strong technical background and leadership experience. You will oversee a team of engineers, manage the PPM schedules & CAPEX plan, and work closely with operations and new product development to align factory capabilities with our innovative product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the engineering strategy, focusing on proactive rather than reactive measures
- Oversee effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Collaborate with operations and NPD teams to introduce new products
- Manage the CAPEX plan for the site
- Oversee engineering projects from inception to completion
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in engineering within a similar food manufacturing environment
- Strong technical background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams
- Ideally, experience with short shelf life/chilled foods
