Our client, a leading leading global consulting firm, are seeking a Planful Consultant to join their expanding practice in the UK. You will be instrumental in delivering and optimising Planful solutions and will focus on improving clients’ financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities. This position is perfect for an individual with a strong background in financial performance management, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for using technology to drive business success. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to define long-term financial planning strategies and translate these into comprehensive Planful solutions. Customise and optimise Planful applications to meet complex client needs. End-to-end Planful implementations, from requirements gathering, testing, and go-live. Support client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client goals. Assess and re-engineer client budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of Planful deployments, aligning with industry best practices. Build trusted client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to extend Planful capabilities, support client growth, and enhance satisfaction. Stay updated on Planful product enhancements and industry trends, bringing innovative approaches to client engagements. Contribute to the development of consulting best practices and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including system architecture, functional specifications, process workflows, and training materials. Required Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of the Planful or TM1 platform, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics modules. Proficiency with data integration, ETL processes, and SQL is a plus. 2+ years of experience with financial performance management software, with at least 2 years as a hands-on Planful (formerly Host Analytics) or TM1 consultant. Prior consulting experience in an enterprise environment is highly preferred. Strong understanding of corporate finance, FP&A processes, and accounting principles. Ability to analyse financial data and translate it into actionable insights. Proven track record of leading complex projects, with strong organisational and time-management skills. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
