Join a dynamic, award-winning professional services firm specialising in trustee and governance support to pension schemes across the UK. A new role seeking a Risk & Compliance Officer to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping and embedding a culture of governance excellence, risk awareness, and regulatory adherence across the business.

You will:

  • Working closely with the Chief Risk Officer, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Designing and enhancing Group-wide risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Mitigating risk in client onboarding and contracting processes.
  • Developing policies on GDPR, whistleblowing, anti-bribery, sanctions, and internal audits.
  • Acting as a key liaison with auditors, regulators, and external advisers.
  • Partnering across teams to embed risk and compliance into operations and service innovation.

You’ll Bring:

  • Strong understanding of UK compliance and regulatory environments.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a risk and/or compliance role.
  • In-depth knowledge of GDPR and practical data protection measures.
  • Proven experience reviewing contracts and identifying risk exposure.
  • Commercial mindset with a proactive, self-directed approach.
  • (Desirable) Experience in the pensions space.
  • (Desirable) ICA or IRM or CIPP qualifications.
