IT Support Engineer 2nd / 3rd Line (Hybrid) – £26,000/£34,000 – Chester Principal IT are working with a well-known MSP based in Chester who provide IT services to local businesses and are looking for a 2nd/3rd Line support engineer to join their team. In this role you will play a vital part in supporting their future strategy. They are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves troubleshooting, and has a passion for IT that extends beyond the screen. Based in Chester but with a range of site visits across the area, you’ll be the go-to IT expert for several highly prestigious clients, ensuring smooth-running systems and swift resolution of technical issues. You’ll be handling everything from routine support to more complex third-line challenges. The role involves the support of a wide range of IT systems, site visits to install equipment and fix issues, equipment builds, 365 migrations, server build configuration and support, switch, router and WAP installation, site survey, monitoring and application support, network infrastructure support, end-user advice and customer support calls – the all-round IT Engineer if you like.
