The Commercial Head of International Markets will be responsible for driving Altria's business growth in international markets, with an immediate focus on relevant European markets. The approach to each market will vary depending on the business strategy; some markets will prioritize building a strong market presence today by establishing robust partnerships and engaging with third-party services to accelerate revenue growth. Other markets will focus on smaller tests to inform future investments and paths toward revenue growth.
The Commercial Head of International Markets will develop sound commercial strategies, distribution plans, and marketing cycle plans in collaboration with Altria’s internal resources in Europe and the US. An important part of the job is to ensure that our portfolio is positioned correctly towards our retail trade partners and to our consumers (B2C and B2B). The role will also involve building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners, acting as the main point of contact for commercial matters, ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering value-added services, and meeting contractual obligations. Addressing client concerns and feedback proactively will be crucial in order to drive long-term success.

- Identify new business opportunities and manage the tendering process for key projects.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends and areas for growth.
- Understand the needs and requirements of existing customers.
- Track, measure, and analyze commercial and consumer metrics using KPIs.
- Ability to change and adapt plans and activities based on real-time learnings will be a key skill to successfully deliver on the job, as will engaging stakeholders internally and externally.
