As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you’ll work alongside experienced surveyors and commercial leaders to develop practical knowledge across live construction projects. You’ll assist with day-to-day commercial operations and gain exposure to tendering, cost control, and project management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates.
- Perform take-offs from technical drawings and produce accurate quantity surveys.
- Support with contract administration, including deliveries, instructions, and variations.
- Help evaluate supplier quotations and maintain commercial documentation.
- Work closely with project, workshop, and site teams to ensure project data is current.
- Monitor costs and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Support general project and tender administration.
