This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, thrive, and grow.
About the Role:
As a Early Years Teaching Assistant in the Pre-School room, you will play a vital role in the early development of young learners, helping to lay the foundation for their educational journey. Working full-time, Monday to Friday, you will provide exceptional care and support to children under 3, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the EYFS curriculum by delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Creating a nurturing, welcoming, and safe environment where children can build their confidence and independence.
- Assisting with day-to-day routines, including meal times, personal care, and outdoor activities.
- Observing and assessing children's progress, maintaining accurate records, and providing feedback to parents and carers.
- Collaborating with the wider early years and school staff to deliver a seamless learning experience.
- Ensuring all safeguarding and health and safety protocols are followed at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working within the EYFS, particularly with children under 3 years old.
- A passion for supporting children's early development and helping them reach key milestones.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
