The Company:
One of the UK’s leading modular construction companies is looking to bring in a Project Design Manager. You’ll join an established business delivering multi-storey school buildings, healthcare facilities, and infrastructure schemes across the UK. Due to internal progression, they are hiring for a key role to support future growth.
The Role:
As Project Design Manager, you’ll oversee the full design process from tender to project completion. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure all design deliverables meet technical, quality, and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate design work across live modular building projects
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
- Prepare and manage execution plans
- Monitor and review the drawing process
- Ensure quality, compliance and coordination of all design documentation
- Attend design meetings and support resolution of technical queries
About You:
- Background in architecture or engineering or construction (degree qualified preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in modular or offsite construction
- Experience in Modular Building Design using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Confident managing the design process and coordinating stakeholders
- Good understanding of design standards and building regulations
