Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and plan locomotive maintenance and repairs, ensuring strict adherence to VMI standards and budgetary requirements.
  • Lead with safety at the forefront, ensuring compliance with industry health and safety regulations.
  • Continuously monitor shift progress and quality to maintain operational standards.
  • Support depot management in HR matters, ensuring all company policies and procedures are upheld.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in transportation maintenance—previous work with rolling stock highly desirable.
  • HND or NVQ Level 3 minimum in an engineering discipline, ideally in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or high-level technical role, with the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
