About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E fit-out works on high-spec projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating M&E subcontractors, and ensuring all works are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day site activities for M&E Fit out
- Oversee and coordinate all subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, program, and safety standards.
- Monitor and report progress against the construction programme.
- Ensure site works are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
- Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure risk assessments/method statements (RAMS) are followed.
- Maintain daily site records including progress updates, site diaries, and snagging reports.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors to ensure smooth communication and efficient project delivery.
- Conduct quality inspections and sign-off on completed works.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar Site Manager role within M&E fit-out projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- SMSTS and First Aid certifications are essential (CSCS not essential)
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices and compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple subcontractors and deadlines.
