Here at Mars, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduling Planner to come and join our team! The Production Scheduling Planner works as part of a dynamic team to manage overall stock levels with best line utilization to maximize output, consistent performance of production lines and ensure customer orders are able to be fulfilled. This includes managing physical stock levels in different formats, conversion operations and various packaging elements.
What are we looking for?
- Supply Chain experience in an operational manufacturing aspect, including experience in inventory management or materials planning roles
- Experience measuring and making decisions based on performance metrics related to supply and operations (i.e. Volume Compliance, Adherence to Schedule, Efficiency/TRS, OTIF, CFR, CSL, DIOH, SFA, BIAS)
- Project Management experience
- Planning systems functional knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to build relationships and solve problems
- SAP, Mapp or other supply planning applications desirable
- FMCG experience desirable
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Ensures adequate stock levels in different formats to fulfil customer orders
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and be the expert in solving inventory issues and providing key analytical data and information
- Actively manage inventory reporting
- Track inventory performance (KPI targets vs actual) and identify improvement opportunities
