Have you got a Forklift Counterbalance licence? Do you want to work for a well established business? Do you want career progression opportunities? If so, APPLY NOW! Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting a Forklift Counterbalance Operative to join our well established client.
Job Duties:
- Operate Forklift Counterbalance in any of the designated areas in the factory to ensure the line is kept running and vehicles are loaded to meet customer requirements.
- Shunter driving – Moving trailer around the yard and in and out of loading bays.
- Unloading returns and recording the returns in the correct manner.
- Help with month end stock take when required.
- Work with haulier drivers to sort and load trucks.
- Unloading trailers – Pallets/Plastic/Plasterboard (consumables) and general deliveries.
- Splitting pallets of product and relabelling as required, ensuring product is labelled correctly for despatch.
- Assemble and wrap product to customer requirements.
- Ensure product is labelled/packed to a very high quality.
- Ensuring correct product is loaded for the customer.
- Ensure all data to be recorded is correct and up to date.
- Keep good housekeeping standards in all areas.
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Forklift Counterbalance licence.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Team player who will work with others to achieve company goals.
- Hardworking with an ability to meet deadlines.
- Customer focused attitude.
Salary: £13.35 per hour (including shift allowance) + regular overtime.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm. This is a Full time, Permanent position.
