Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Engineer to lead our dispatch operations. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth, accurate, and timely dispatch of IT assets, while upholding our high standards for quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the dispatch team in day-to-day operations.
- Actively participate in testing, picking, packing, and shipping of IT assets.
- Prioritise orders and manage workflows in coordination with the Dispatch and Sales teams.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, product issues, or shipment errors promptly.
- Monitor stock levels in the outbound area and liaise with the Purchasing team to ensure timely restocking.
- Uphold rigorous quality control standards during testing and order preparation.
- Keep testing processes current and escalate any concerns to directors.
- Provide cover across warehouse roles during staff absence due to holidays or sickness to maintain service standards.
