We’re currently recruiting a Sales Manager for an industry leading company within the leisure industry. The role will be primarily based at the busy sales office in Dorset, having responsibility for managing the sales function for the South Coast. You’ll be managing a team of field sales executives and making sure the company achieves sales targets.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 base salary + annual bonus + company car or car allowance. The role is mainly office based with some travel involved when meeting customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales and Margin forecast for South Coast department
  • Recruit, coach, develop and motivate high performing sales team
  • Deliver KPI’s for Field Sales (activity and revenue targets)
  • Build realistic pipeline and ensure all quotes are followed up in a timely manner
  • Identify, map and target high potential opportunities
  • Ensure areas are being effectively covered
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with industry stakeholders and trade associations
  • Support Sales Office with quoting and pricing on complex projects
  • Prompt resolution of customer disputes – 1st call resolution
  • Formulation of sales Campaigns and Promotions
  • Support Sales Office in delivering superior customer experience
  • Provide Senior Management with accurate monthly reporting
  • Liaise with Operations Manager and Production Manager to optimise productivity
  • Identify and report on emerging trends and competitor activity
  • Representation at Regional and National Trade Shows

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Sales Leadership role with proven track record in B2B
  • Proven track record of managing change
  • Consummate CRM skills
  • Strategic thought process linked with analytical thinking
  • Flexible and adaptive leadership style
  • Evidence of professional sales training
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and develop relationships at all levels
  • Stay calm under pressure with pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Full driving licence
