Our client is a Bradford-based engineering concern, manufacturing heating and cooling equipment for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) markets. Founded 125 years ago, they are well-known and well-respected in the industry. They are an autonomous part of a global engineering group listed on the London Stock Exchange. They are now looking to recruit a Sales Estimator to join their team.

Reporting to the Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving enquiries via telephone and email
  • Evaluating specification documents and GA drawings identifying product requirements
  • Preparing quotations for standalone equipment and prefabricated skid packages
  • Sending quotations to customers
  • Compiling technical submittals
  • Managing multiple projects at one time
  • Communication with customers regarding projects
  • Discussing projects with external sales
  • Processing orders
  • Working with line manager and other departments to comply and improve company processes
  • Providing ad-hoc support as needed to other departments

Preferred Experience - HVAC – Commercial / Industrial HVAC or Process industry experience, Customer Service/Estimating/Sales

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven work experience in a similar role
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Driving License

Salary c£28K - £30K DOE

Full Time/Permanent position

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Flexi-time / WFH

25-days holiday p.a. plus Public Holidays
