Morson Talent are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician Location: RAF Coningsby Salary: £37,356.00 + dependent on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Performing maintenance and diagnostic activities on aircraft or components, including ground handling, flight servicing, inspections, fault rectifications, and system tests. Reviewing operational performance of aircraft components and systems. Analyzing and diagnosing faults, applying knowledge to effect repairs or suggest procedural improvements. Ensuring maintenance is completed on schedule and escalating issues as required. Maintaining personal task competencies and receiving on-the-job training to remain current. Undertaking support tasks to maintain compliance with the MOE and mandated procedures, including oversight checks and control of tooling/test equipment. Your skills and experiences: Essential: Proven experience, including Typhoon Type or Q course, fully competent with required 'Authorities.' Previous supervisory experience in a similar role. Desirable: Experience documented via a logbook (electronic or paper) demonstrating skills, knowledge, and authorities. Completion of an Aeronautical Engineering Apprenticeship or military equivalent qualifications. City & Guilds 2675/2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent academic qualifications. Aircraft platform training on Typhoon or equivalent.
