An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Care Assistants to join a fantastic care home based in Taunton. This care home are set within beautiful acres of landscaped gardens and accommodates up to 94 residents. They specialising in providing high-quality care for elderly residents with dementia. Please see details below: * £13.55 – £14.65ph * 37.5 hours per week * Permanent contract Requirements of the Senior Care Assistant Role: * Excellent communication and written skills * Previous experience as a senior care assistant in a care home * Have worked with those with challenging behaviour and dementia care * NVQ3 or higher in Health & Social Care * Medication Trained Responsibilities: * Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting * Managing the care team within the unit and ensuring staff are adhering to CQC Guidlines * Provide exceptional leves of care to residents * Assist with medication, care plans and risk assessments * Understanding of CQC regulations and DoLs Limited interview slots are available so if you are interested please do not hesitate to contact me when you can. *Able to offer staff benefits as well as support towards gaining higher qualifications* If you are interested in this position please apply now
