Job description: HGV Class 2 Drivers Location – Harlow AM STARTS Rate – £21.67 an hour / £32.50 Overtime WEEKLY PAY !! PAYE OnlyThe Role The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture for about 10 different clients this includes installs the products can be weighty covering between 15 – 25 drops a day. Responsibilities Operate and drive primarily HGV Class 2 commercial vehicles. Transport goods and materials from one location to another Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenanceRequirements Possess a valid UK HGV C or CE driving licence with the appropriate cards such as CPC and Tacho Cards Newly Qualified HGV Drivers Accepted Ability to load and offload furniture to and from vehicle safely Excellent driving record with no major endorsements and a maximum of 6 points.
