We are working with an established Machines Manufacturing company based in Wales, UK. They are recruiting for a home based Multi Skilled Installation Engineer to join their team. In return for a salary in the region of £46,000 along with excellent employment benefits.

Our Client is one of the leading turnkey robotics and automation integrators within the UK, specialising in process and packaging end of line systems. They specialise in the supply of process and packaging machinery to various industries around the UK and Internationally.

They are currently seeking a Multi Skilled Installation Engineer with relevant experience and knowledge for the role. The Candidate will be home, or work based, depending on location, but the role involves regular travel all over the UK with opportunities to work internationally also.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Installation of automated packaging machinery in various industries.
  • Completing site installation from initial layout, erection, mechanical & electrical fitting.
  • Compiling Installation reports, while also liaising with Management team on progress, ensuring projects meet targets, and adaptations are made where necessary.
  • Electrical work involves wiring 3-phase, 400v, 24vdc systems including sensory and safety equipment.
  • Connection & Layout of pneumatic equipment.
  • Responsible for own Health and Safety, conducting task related Risk Assessments and safe system of work as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience of erecting steel structures, involving use of lifting equipment, forklifts, telehandlers & MEWP.
  • Previous experience of working on single and three phase supply, 24vdc systems, along with basic fault finding required during installations.
  • Relevant industry recognised qualifications desirable.
  • Good team player but also proficient working alone when required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain customer relationships in order to maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Willingness to work/stay away consistently during the week.
  • Applicants must be flexible and adaptable to changing work schedules.
  • Full UK driving licence.
