Reading Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker for our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. Join a supportive service committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and their families.

Pay Rate: Up to £40 per hour

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office

As a Social Worker in the CWD team, you will manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities, undertaking assessments and developing child-centred plans. Your role will involve safeguarding children, assessing needs for services, and coordinating multi-agency support. You will work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure children receive appropriate care, support, and opportunities to thrive. This includes completing statutory assessments, review plans, and contributing to the overall well-being and development of disabled children in Reading.
