An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join the Stratford Physiotherapy Service in Newham. This is a community-based role supporting patients with musculoskeletal conditions through high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy. The service is focused on patient-centred care, flexible access, and collaboration with advanced practice colleagues to ensure efficient care pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality MSK physiotherapy to patients across the borough of Newham
- Independently manage a defined caseload, including complex cases, using sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalised treatment plans, and deliver a range of therapeutic interventions
- Work autonomously while contributing to the wider team's development and clinical standards
- Participate in the operation and delivery of gym-based rehabilitation as part of patient care
- Collaborate closely with Extended Scope Physiotherapists (ESPs), GPs with Special Interests (GPwSI), and consultants in Rheumatology and Orthopaedics to ensure seamless patient pathways
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with Trust policies
- Participate in service development, quality improvement, and peer support activities

Requirements:
- HCPC registered Physiotherapist with post-graduate experience in MSK
- Proven ability to manage a complex MSK caseload independently
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to contribute to team development and service delivery
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a community MSK setting
- Familiarity with shared care pathways involving ESPs and GPwSIs
- Experience delivering rehabilitation in a gym setting
