As the Senior Production Manager, you will be a key member of the Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of workshop operations, production timeline schedules and project delivery.
Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for workshop operations
- Oversee all workshop operations including metal work, carpentry, scenic art, and general workshop activities
- Create and maintain production standards and quality control processes
- Develop and maintain production schedules and resource allocation plans predicting shortfalls
- Monitor and control operational costs and budgets
- Collaborate with Project Management Director to ensure aligned delivery approaches
- Manage resource allocation across projects
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and challenges
- Develop comprehensive skills matrices to identify talent gaps
- Manage performance and development of all direct reports, implementing structured performance review processes focused on skills development
Experience:
- Relevant experience in a senior production or operations role
- Experience of leading a team
- Experience working within a production-focused organisation / industry sector (desirable)
- Understanding of workshop processes and techniques
- Strong leadership, strategic planning and business development skills
