About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Suspension Engineer to join one of our prestigious automotive customers in Gaydon. This is a contract opportunity for a senior-level professional with a strong background in suspension systems and cross-functional engineering collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Apply advanced engineering theories and principles to design, develop, and refine suspension systems.

Lead research and development efforts focused on suspension devices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Collaborate closely with powertrain engineering teams to develop industrialized products.

Manage complex projects and engineering processes with minimal supervision.

Provide coaching and technical guidance to junior engineers.

Solve challenging and sometimes complex engineering problems with innovative solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven experience in suspension engineering within the automotive sector.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and dynamics.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior professionals.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced qualifications preferred.
