Hours: 15 hours per week. 12 Month Temporary Contract
We are currently looking to recruit a Hospitality Assistant to join our team here at Housing 21.
Key accountabilities include:
- Work with catering team to take orders and serve customers food and drinks in a timely and friendly manner.
- Keep facilities clean and presentable.
- Provide excellent customer service. Seek feedback from users and contribute to suggestions for future improvements.
- Promote residents’ engagement and use of facilities at the village, including hard to reach residents.
- Monitor and report any problems to Facilities lead.
- Process payments accurately and ensure accurate records are kept.
What we’re looking for:
- A good knowledge of older people and the issues pertaining to them.
- Sound knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation.
- Experience in managing budgets.
- Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults (desirable).
- Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (desirable).
- Willingness to work towards Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (if not held).
