We are looking for a compassionate, organised, and motivated Social Work Assistant to support a team working with foster carers and children in care. Key Responsibilities:
- Support qualified social workers in delivering services to foster carers and children in care.
- Undertake direct work with children and young people, including life story work and participation activities.
- Assist with placement monitoring and support visits to foster homes.
- Coordinate and support contact between children and their families.
- Help organise foster carer training sessions, support groups, and events.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to assessments and reports.
- Liaise with schools, health professionals, and other partner agencies.
- Promote safeguarding and emotional wellbeing for all children in care.
