Service Care Solutions are working alongside a growing and innovative accountancy practice who are looking to bring a motivated Tax Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of the role.
Role Overview:
- Prepare and submit Self-Assessment tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Assist with Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Trust Tax matters.
- Prepare P11Ds and advise on benefits in kind.
- Support with succession planning and estate tax advice.
- Carry out ad hoc tax assignments and projects.
- Liaise directly with clients and HMRC as required.
- Maintain accurate records using tax software (IRIS preferred).
- Studying or qualified in ATT, ACCA, ACA, or CTA (QBE candidates also considered).
- Experience in a professional accountancy practice setting.
- Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
