Our client is a multidisciplinary, main contractor excelling in the delivery of construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, currently looking for an experienced Groundworker to work on a busy civils site in Guildford.
As a Groundworker, your duties will include:
- Shallow and deep drainage works
- Concreting, kerbing, and slabbing
- Trenching and ducting
- Preparing footings and foundations
- Assisting with pipelaying and manhole installations
- Working closely with machine operators and other site trades
Successful Groundworker must have the following:
- Valid CSCS card (Blue Skilled Worker preferred)
- At least 4 years of experience on civil engineering sites
- Good knowledge of drainage and general groundwork practices
- CPCS/NPORS for Dumper/Roller (preferred but not essential)
