Senior Process Design Engineer

Job Description What Are We Looking For? Our Chemical & Biological Treatment division is expanding their in-house design team and are currently looking for a Senior Process Design Engineer to join our Edinburgh office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing process design input, formulating and developing designs for clients, and providing direction and technical guidance to the team. Some Of Your Key Duties Include Initial project scoping visit and preparation of project scope reports. Process calculations and process unit sizing. Preparation of P&IDs. Ensure that project design checking, validation and approval procedures are followed including any Client technical governance requirements Preparation of Process Control Philosophies. Consider all project design development activities including multi-disciplinary interface reviews, ensuring compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards Leading design meetings, including but not limited to HAZOPs. Act as a Design Lead for specific projects. Specifying temporary treatment requirements to ensure no consent breaches occur during construction activities.
