Fire & Security Engineer

Fire & Security Engineer | Permanent | Mon-Fri | 08:30 – 17:00 | OT Available | OTE £45000 | Cherry Professional are recruiting for a multi-disciplined, Fire & Security Service Engineer covering the East Midlands area, all engineers are guaranteed to be home every night. You will be responsible for maintaining Fire & Security systems in line with customer requirements and current standards. Responsibilities: • Completing maintenance’s within a timely manner • Carrying out remedial works. • Delivering a first-class customer service to all our customers. • Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications. • Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces or cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, positioning and termination cables, wires, or strapping. • Inspect equipment to locate or identify electrical problems. • Attend and repair emergency callouts as required • Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, or other security features to ensure proper functioning or to diagnose malfunctions Ideal Candidate: • 1 year experience as a multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer (or willing to learn missing discipline) • A full UK Driving Licence – mandatory • Any FIA courses etc are a bonus but not essential • You will be part of an on-call rota.
