Electrical Estimator We are proud to be working with a leading and highly respected Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractor, based in the heart of London. With a reputation for delivering excellence in commercial and office fit-out projects, the company offers complete M&E services from concept design to final commissioning. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of high-profile projects, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their established estimating team. About the Role As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role during the pre-construction phase of projects, preparing accurate and commercially competitive cost estimates for the electrical elements of M&E tenders. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver winning submissions. Key Responsibilities * Prepare comprehensive tenders for electrical packages ranging from £50k to £4m * Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents * Estimate material, labour, and equipment costs * Conduct risk assessments and identify value-engineering opportunities * Collaborate with design, project management, and pre-construction teams * Analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure best value * Maintain and develop a cost database and historical pricing records * Assist in producing complete bid submissions and client proposals Requirements * Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E / Building Services sector * Strong understanding of electrical systems, standards, and installation practices * Commercial awareness with a keen eye for detail * Proficient in estimating software and Excel * Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings with accuracy * Excellent communication and organisational skills What’s On Offer * Base Salary: £75,000 – £95,000 (DOE) * Travel Allowance * Bonus Scheme * Private Healthcare * Pension Scheme Options * Company Phone & Laptop * Regular Social Events * Ongoing Training & Development * Supportive and Collaborative Team Culture * Genuine Career Progression Opportunities Apply Now If you\’re an experienced Electrical Estimator ready to progress your career with a forward-thinking and established M&E contractor, we’d love to hear from you.
