Due to ongoing growth and investment in the production capabilities, they are looking for an experienced and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join the team and play a key role in optimising processes and driving efficiency across their operations.
Your role as the Manufacturing Engineer: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, quality, and maintenance to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
As the Manufacturing Engineer your Key Responsibilities will be:
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Develop work instructions, process documentation, and production layouts.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and implement changes to support design updates.
- Identify and implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support to resolve root causes.
- Lead or support continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, LEAN).
- Work with suppliers and vendors to source equipment and components.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements: Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a production environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, lean techniques, and process improvement. Proficient in CAD software and manufacturing process tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
