CNC Laser Machine Operator

My client is looking for an experienced CNC Laser Machine Operator.

They are based in Harlow, just off Edinburgh Way, close to Tesco.

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm

Friday 8 am to 1 pm

£14 to £16 per hour depending upon experience – this is negotiable as we are looking for the right person.

You will be hard working and have great attention to detail. Productivity, effectiveness and a good work ethic are crucial.

You will be required to operate the CNC Laser Machine to begin the production process so previous experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Operating, setting and programming CNC laser machine.
• Maintaining and complying with all safety systems regarding machine operation and proper guarding.
• Good understanding of the manufacture of small volume parts to close tolerances.
• Conducting regular quality checks such as visual checks such as visual checks or taking measurements.
• Previous experience in a sheet metal worker role.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a CNC Laser Machine Operator.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexible team player but also able to work on own initiative.
