Based across Bedfordshire and Letchworth, £35,000 per annum plus company car. Clean environments make people happier. We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing Central division overseeing a multisite contract inclusive of education and commercial sites. You’ll be managing a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring their 21 sites are thoroughly supervised and that the specified standards are met and maintained to a high level. No two days will be the same. When you’re dealing with people there’s never a dull moment, and you’ll use your strong interpersonal skills to support and develop your team.
As an Account Manager you’ll be:
- Maintaining strong client relationships with high levels of satisfaction
- Providing and maintaining the quality-of-service delivery
- Managing, recruiting, and coaching local service teams
- Carrying out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, audits as required by and to support the Operations Manager
- Responsible for ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation is adhered to
- Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings and account growth
As an Account Manager you’ll have:
- Demonstrable experience managing Cleaning or Grounds contracts
- Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure and influence at a senior level
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems
- Ability to work to tight timescales
- Strong commercial awareness, financial management, and IT literacy
