We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join. As a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing project finances, managing contracts, and ensuring cost-effective project execution while maintaining quality standards. You’ll work closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-value projects across various sectors e.g., construction, infrastructure, commercial, residential.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing project budgets, cost control, and forecasting.
- Preparing and reviewing tender documentation and contracts.
- Conducting risk assessments and value engineering.
- Negotiating with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Overseeing valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior QS team members.
Key Requirements
- BSc degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years post graduate experience in quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g. Bluebeam) and MS Office.
- Chartered status (MRICS or equivalent) preferred, but not essential.
