Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a Commissioning Engineer to work on Water and Wastewater treatment projects. Salary - £55,000 - £65,000 + pkg (DOE)
Duties:
- Preparing and maintaining detailed commissioning records and documentation
- Coordinating commissioning activities
- Chairing commissioning meetings with subcontractors and the client as and when required
- Reviewing and signing off commissioning documentation and RAMS
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during commissioning
- Conducting pre-commissioning inspections and testing of equipment and systems.
Requirements:
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
- CSCS, SMSTS, or equivalent safety certification
- Significant demonstrable experience in a construction/commissioning role
- Proven experience in commissioning water/wastewater treatment projects.
- Experience working with contractors or water utility companies.
- Process knowledge around treatment and water movement
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of ICA (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) and process systems is desirable.
- Comfortable multitasking and has great time management skills
- Being able to work with a specific focus on multiple deadlines and being able to communicate with senior stakeholders on the progress of projects
