Senior Mechanical Estimator We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our client who are a multi-regional MEP contractor. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in winning commercial new build and refurbishment projects, with specific experience working on projects ranging from £500k to £2m. A comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates by analysing tender enquiries, gathering information, and assessing important metrics to deliver profitable and compliant bid packages. Responsibilities • Leading the tender process from submission to securing projects/contracts. • Conducting material take-offs and sending out subcontractor and supplier inquiries. • Preparing cost estimates based on labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor rates. • Reviewing technical specifications and ensuring compliance with client requirements. • Attending site surveys, mid and post-bid interviews, and pre-award meetings. • Managing and developing client relationships and procuring new project enquiries. Experience • Must have previous experience pricing/estimating commercial jobs • Must be able to understand technical drawings • Able to use excel spreadsheets • In depth knowledge of HVAC costing for D&B projects • Experience of winning new projects from £1m+ • Must be a team player • Qualifications within building services are desirable Benefits • Competitive rate of salary up to £65,000 • Car allowance £6,000 • 33 days holiday (inc. bank holidays) • Pension • Profit related bonus structure • Investment and support needed to succeed the role JBRP1_UKTJ
