Pertemps are currently recruiting for van drivers for our public sector client to be based in the Edinburgh area supporting a busy waste and cleansing department.

Location: Edinburgh East

Hours of Work: 4 days on 4 days off 06.00-17.02 with 45min break

Rate of Pay: £13.48 - £15.08 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain a cleansing department van.
  • Lead a small team of operatives to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Conduct street cleansing, litter collection, and waste management duties.
  • Allocate tasks to team members effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Provide excellent service to the community, representing the department with professionalism and integrity.
