Location: Colchester General Hospital
Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm
Trust Location: East Suffolk & North Essex NHS Foundation Trust
Role type: Temporary for 6 weeks with possibility of extension
What you’ll be responsible for:
- This job role will be to type consultant and registrar letters from on calls and clinics.
- The Support Typist will be expected to update an admin spreadsheet and to outcome clinic appointments on CareFlow.
- Digital dictation experience is essential as well as knowledge of CareFlow.
- Experience of Bighand essential.
- Any other associated administrative duties.
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- Administration experience (essential).
- Strong attention to detail.
- NHS experience (essential).
- Audio typing skills (essential).
- Competent with Microsoft office programmes.
