Class 1 Night Trunk Driver

Class 1 Night Trunk Drivers required for x4 ongoing positions based out of Portsmouth with immediate starts available.

The Role:

You will be required to drive a double decker to and from Portsmouth to the distribution Hub based in Birmingham. The role will require you to pull curtains and secure the load prior to departure, ensure the unit and trailer is road worthy and report any defects and fuel as required unroute.

Typical run time 10 to 12 hrs per night Monday to Friday

Rates of Pay:

Paye driver 18.00 per hour

Limited company driver 21.00 per hour

(Min 10hrs paid)

Essential requirements.

• Valid HGV class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Relevant knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.
• Over 23 for insurance purposes.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
