Are you a reliable 7.5T driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service? We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected commercial laundry and workwear provider who is looking for a dedicated 7.5T Customer Delivery Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.
You’ll work a regular delivery route and become a key customer contact – this is a customer-facing role where building relationships and providing a professional, friendly service is just as important as safe and timely driving.
What’s on Offer:
- £13.06 per hour (£27,164 per annum)
- Quarterly bonus – up to £400
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 7am starting time
- 21 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
- Free on-site parking
- Permanent contract
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect workwear and laundry from a dedicated customer base
- Represent the business professionally and deliver excellent customer service
- Load and unload cages and laundry bags (manual handling required)
- Use PDA or manifest to track deliveries accurately
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Report feedback or customer queries to the operations team
- Attend daily team briefings and stay updated on route changes
What You’ll Need:
- Valid 7.5T licence and Driver CPC (up to date)
- No more than 6 points on licence
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience
- A proactive, customer-focused approach
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
