Estimator roles & responsibilities:
- Analysing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Preparing detailed cost breakdowns for labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor elements, including M&E systems.
- Liaising with design, engineering, and project management teams to understand project scope and requirements.
- Sourcing and negotiating prices with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Preparing and submitting tenders, ensuring competitive and compliant bids.
Estimator experience required:
- Minimum 7 years Estimator experience.
- Experience of preparing estimates / cost plans for new build, refurbishment and FM works from scratch.
- Good working knowledge of estimating software tools (ConQuest, CostX, Bluebeam, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great βcan doβ attitude.
