We are working with a leading Building Services and FM Organisation who are looking to bring on a Mobile Electrical Engineer to cover one of their contracts based across the M6 corridor and Staffordshire area.

Job purpose: As a Mobile Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for undertaking all electrical engineering activities such as single and three phase systems, electrical motors, lighting systems, DB Boards, generators and more all to the highest level of service for the client. You will be required to answer queries, report any defects, and keep the client informed of site activities at the time of the service visit. You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
  • Enhanced Check.
  • Relevant qualifications required e.g. 18th Edition, Level 3 in Electrical Engineering. Bonus if you hold an AP ticket.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and Safe Systems of Working.
  • Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces as well as a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota - £150 Stand by.
  • Good verbal and written communication are important, including the ability to use a mobile device.
  • You’ll need to be highly self-motivated, and solutions focussed with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.

40 hours a Week Mon – Fri Overtime & weekends available. Immediate Starts.

Benefits: Salary £45k - £50k, Van and Fuel Card, Laptop/PDA, Mobile Phone, any specialist tools supplied, PPE. Other Benefits available e.g., Holidays, Pensions etc to be discussed at Interview.
