Shirley Parsons have partnered with a leading retailer, who are looking to hire a Health and Safety Coordinator to join their growing H&S team. This position is home based, with frequent UK wide travel. This is a fantastic development opportunity, where further professional training and development will be provided. The Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Conducting audits and inspections across a variety of work locations
- Assisting the Health and Safety team with a range of H&S projects, programmes and initiatives
- Undertake accident and incident investigations, identify root causes and develop preventative measures
- Promoting a positive Health and Safety culture
The Health and Safety Coordinator will have:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Previously worked in a multi site H&S position; ideally within the automotive sector
- A full UK driving licence and be willing to travel UK wide
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engender strong working relationships
