Overview:
Compass Associates are proud to be working with a highly respected care provider to recruit a Deputy Manager for their residential elderly care home in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered nurse with leadership experience who is passionate about high standards of care and team development. The role supports the Home Manager in the overall running of the home, with responsibility for clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision. You will lead by example on the floor, support with audits and care planning, and help manage staff performance and rota planning. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on care quality and resident wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Active NMC registration (RGN, RMN or RNLD)
- Previous experience in a senior care role (e.g., Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager)
- Excellent clinical knowledge and confident in medication management
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards
- A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care
