Opportunity for a commercially minded gaming regulatory and compliance lawyer with in-depth experience advising on the full range of gaming regulations in EMEA. This is a key role for the business and an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to continue with technical work whilst working closely with senior stakeholders on business strategy. As the UK in-house lawyer, you will be supported by your international colleagues as part of the global legal team. This role reports directly into the Global GC who is based in APAC. Therefore you will have a lot of autonomy and ownership for the EMEA business.
In this role, your key responsibilities will be to:
- advise on gaming laws, rules and regulations, best practice for the business
- draft and implement compliance measures to mitigate risks
- advise on wider gaming-related legal and compliance issues including IP, patents, trademarks, etc.
We are looking for someone who is:
- at least six years PQE, with experience from private practice or in-house
- solid experience and understanding of gaming regulations, licensing and compliance
