Berry Recruitment require an IRATA Level 3 Team Leader to join our client based at their offices in Fawley Refinery, Southampton. As an IRATA Level 3 Team Leader you will be leading an operational team working on various projects at our Fawley site.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leading a team of IRATA technicians.
- Proficiency in all aspects of Rope Access Operations including Rescue, Rigging and Hauling Systems.
- Delivering toolbox talks, project briefs, and liaising with customers on-site.
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of the IRATA International Code of Practice (ICOP) and key legislation.
- Implementing our Safe system of Work.
- Undertaking planning tasks including compiling risk assessments and method statements.
- Carrying out pre-works site visits with our onsite Technical Authority.
Key Skills & Qualifications Required
- IRATA Level 3 Certification with logged hours within 6 months.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Proficient in time management and prioritising tasks.
- Capability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office and other digital applications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Experience
- Experience / certificates below are desirable but not required as full training will be provided.
- Experience within the oil and gas industry onshore or construction sector desirable.
- SSSTS / SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
Rates
- £24 (flat rate)
- £33.60 (1.4) Overtime
- £43.20 (1.8) Overtime
- 10hr Days, 6 Days a week (Sunday to Friday)
