Homes2Inspire are looking for a Residential Waking Night Youth Support Worker to be part of the residential staff team at a brand-new residential bungalow in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives, guiding them towards a brighter future while upholding the highest standards of care. The successful candidate will be working closely with the child to support their mental health and special needs. Experience in CAMHS or mental health nursing is preferred but not required.

Residential Waking Night Youth Support Workers play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and young people throughout the night. You will be there to offer comfort, manage night-time routines, and address any issues that may arise, creating a peaceful and secure environment for everyone. You will liaise with day shift staff to ensure a thorough handover of any issues or incidents that may have occurred during the night.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing care and support to children and young people who require social, emotional, and mental health support.

Requirements:
  • Willingness to work towards a QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare
  • Commitment to working a shift pattern including sleep-in duties + overtime
  • Full UK driving licence
